Had a lovely drive up to Lake Tahoe which is absolutely stunning. 6000 feet above sea level, 12 miles across, 72 miles circumference - it really is magnificent. There is snow on the mountain tops and the sky is clear blue - absolutely gorgeous weather, cold but fresh and clear.
We went for a lovely walk along the shore of Emerald Bay - stunning views. And our bargain price hotel was superb too. Great trip!
