Today we drove 200 miles from Palm Springs to Kingwood, Arizona.
We detoured through Joshua Springs National Park on the way - magnificent rock formations and joshua trees. Completed a short walk there before driving northwards across the Mojave Desert (86°) to the famous Route 66 into Arizona. Staying at Kingwood tonight before pressing on to Flagstaff tomorrow and the Grand Canyon on Monday.
All fascinating and contrasting landscapes - America is HUGE!
So exciting! I love the photos and that Rob is seemingly done writing all together! The blog has been fantastic and I cannot wait to see the Grand Canyon!
