Despite the forecast for heavy rain all day we set off in good spirits wearing every item of waterproof gear in our panniers. The day started with a lovely route on cycle paths through Stanley Park leading to West Vancouver over the Lion Bridge which could have been mistaken for the Golden Gate bridge had it been painted the right colour.
At Horseshoe bay we took the ferry to Langdale and then headed up the Sunshine Coast before reaching our campsite. A few testing hills today with more to come tommorow!
