We arrived in Vancouver late Tuesday night after a 10 hour flight from Heathrow and were very relieved to find that the bikes and luggage had also arrived with us! My plan to not set the bar too high by staying at the International Hostel in downtown Vancouver has worked and camping will now seem luxurious in comparism ☺.
Bikes are now assembled, everything is in the panniers and we are good to go. Unfortunately the beautiful weather that we left behind in the UK has not arrived with us and the forecast for the next few days is a bit grim.. However we are undaunted and are looking forward to finding out whether our waterproofs and tent are indeed waterproof!
