And today was an easy day. The weather forecast threatened heavy rain from midday so after only 20 miles we could not resist the temptation of the Sandpebbles beachside hotel overlooking the strait of Georgia. After a stroll around town and a hot bath for Nicola we finished the day with a splendid meal at the seafront restaurant next door. Camping was definitely a non starter today as it is absolutely teeming with rain as we write the blog. However we are informed that a mini heatwave is on it's way!
Now that looks more like my kind of holiday! Fully understand Nicola after 3 nights in that tent you were in need of some space. Rain is a good excuse though.
