So much for romance and a good night's sleep! We were woken at 3 hourly intervals throughout the night by the piercing screech of what appeared to be the LPG detector alarm. After opening all the windows and attempting to shut off the LPG supply, we returned to bed but despite all our efforts the alarm persisted. I must say we were relieved to wake up in the morning still alive (although I may not be so grateful when we resume the cycling!).
Having apologised to our neighbours we slunk away and drove off to our next destination - Lake Wenatchee State Park - with a stop for a much needed Starbucks coffee en route. Rob of course had to have his daily quota of a thick slice of cake to wash down his coffee.
Lake Wenatchee is stunning - high up in the mountains and the campsite is possibly the best one so far and not at all busy. Rob's culinary skills are finally improving - we haven't had a single Waitrose ready meal this holiday - the BBQd sausages are delicious!
Back to Sally and Greg 's tomorrow, hopefully with the camper van intact.

Can sympathise on 2 fronts. First we had multiple technical fails on our caravan and it is very very annoying and why we sold it. Second, our house alarm went off 3 times last night !
