Day 2 Roberts Creek to Saltery Bay 40 miles

A very tough ride for the second day with many long and steep hills before we finally caught a late ferry across the stunningly scenic Saltary Bay.
Due to our late arrival we had no choice but to camp at the local  Provincial  Park  which offered pit toilets , no showers and one tap for the whole campsite.. After a gourmet supper of chicken noodle cuppa soup, dried bread and cheese we are now in our sleeping bags for an early start  at 6 AM to  catch the ferry across to Vancouver Island. And as we forgot to buy some milk, Nicola is going to have to forego her early morning cup of Yorkshire tea. Can we get any lower than this?

  1. Sounds like a first class camp site. Well done Robert and glad you are making sure Nicola has everything she needs!
