We were up at 6 30AM this morning to ensure that we caught the midday ferry from Powell River to Vancouver Island. This was the northern most point of our trip which is probably why we saw snow covered peaks in the distance. From now onwards it should all be downhill according to Nicola ' s theory that we are heading towards the south pole. And so it proved to be for the last 27 miles of the day. Long may it continue. We are now in a very pleasant RV park by the sea with hot showers. This is a big relief for me as Nicola had it in her head today that we should wild camp on the beach!!! Tomorrow is scheduled to be an easy day we hope.
